We do not add advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes connection information such as IP addresses and requests to deliver and protect the website. Product websites and linked services have their own policies.
Vantage
Your saved stories, chosen city and interests are stored in this browser. No account is required. You can delete that data in Vantage’s settings. Live feeds and weather require internet access. Requests pass through our hosting service to the selected publishers and data providers. Changing a city sends that city’s public coordinates for weather lookup; we do not automatically access your precise location.
Headlines are supplied by their publishers. Vantage links to original reporting and does not claim to verify each report. It is not an emergency notification service. Check official local guidance for immediate safety decisions.
Local places are supplied by OpenStreetMap through Overpass using approximate city coordinates, with OpenStreetMap attribution and ODbL licensing. Web search uses our SearXNG gateway hosted on Render. Your query is sent through Cloudflare to our gateway and selected search engines; your browser does not connect directly to those engines for results. Search providers receive the query and our gateway connection information. We cache query results briefly to improve speed. We do not add advertising trackers or build a personal search-history profile. Static Labs aggregates results rather than operating a complete independent web index. Adult-content filtering is enabled, but does not control external websites.
JobAtlas
Job search uses selected public feeds from Canada Job Bank, Arbeitnow and Remotive. Searches pass through our hosting service; Canada Job Bank may receive the keyword and city you enter. Saved jobs stay in this browser and can be deleted from JobAtlas. Applying opens an external provider; its terms and privacy policy apply. Remotive listings are delayed by 24 hours, include attribution and link to the original Remotive posting. No account or email signup is required to view them.
